תודעת צמיחה, מושג שטבעה חוקרת הפסיכולוגיה קרול דווק וממנו התערוכה שואבת השראה, מייצג דפוס חשיבה המבוסס על האמונה כי באמצעות מאמץ ואימון תודעתי ממוקד אפשר להשיג הכול. על פי תפיסה זו, אתגרים הם חלק מתהליך למידה הכרחי, טעויות הן עניין חיובי, ומיומנויות נרכשות על ידי פעולות חוזרות והתמסרות להן.

התערוכה עוסקת באינטואיציה ובפעולות אמנותיות השמות דגש על המֶשך ועל ההתפתחות בתהליך היצירה. גלגולים חומריים ורעיוניים מפגישים בין מרצים, מרצות, בוגרים ובוגרות של הקוביה – בית ספר לאמנות ממגוון שנים.

The title of the exhibition was inspired by the educational approach called “growth mindset,” formulated by the psychology researcher Carol Dweck. This approach represents the idea that effort and focused consciousness coaching can enable us to achieve anything. From this perspective, challenges are a necessary part of the learning process, mistakes are positive, and skills are acquired through dedication to repetitive actions.

The exhibition brings together instructors at Hacubia Art School and graduates from different classes, and is concerned with intuition and artistic actions that emphasize duration and development in the creative process.
